That reverb tank might only be *mostly* dead. Modern tanks like this Accutronics have push-on connectors that can come loose and need cleaning like anything else.

Behold, the mighty #Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. This little beast has played hundreds of gigs, and is ready to get a little hum busted.
This stuff is the bane of my existence. Thank you, Fender, for the effort to shield the electronics from inference, but no thank you to the previous folks who jacked up this shielding, taking the chassis in and out of the cabinet.
